Copywriter

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We’re looking for an experienced and meticulous Copywriter/Proofreader to oversee copy operations for all accounts. This role focuses specifically on copywriting for product packaging and labeling. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who can produce results-driven product copy in a supportive but fast-paced environment.

Lead copy development across all accounts in the Bath & Beauty department

Write instructional and promotional copy for various bath & beauty products

Proofread all final art layouts before production for spelling and grammatical errors

Generate catchy phrasing tailored to different target audiences

Collaborate with art department to make all necessary revisions

Stay up to date on best industry practices for product copywriting

Communicate clearly and effectively with factories in China

Work with internal teams to stay up to date on changing regulatory standards and ensure compliance is met for all products

Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Reply to all external customer inquiries, maintaining a high standard of customer service

Manage product image record keeping

COMPETENCIES

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

2+ years of experience in product or promotional copywriting

Portfolio demonstrating eloquent writing ability

Meticulous attention to detail

Strong multitasking and organizational skills

Clear and effective communication style, both written and verbal

Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or equivalent or 2+ years of experience in product or promotional copywriting
