Public Affairs Lead

To shape policy and elevate influence across government and academia, the full-time Public Affairs Lead will monitor legislative developments, engage with key stakeholders, and manage relationships with institutions while operating in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze federal and state legislative and regulatory developments impacting technology policy
Build and manage relationships with government stakeholders and coordinate interactions on behalf of the organization
Assist in managing partnerships with influential institutions and position the organization as a thought leader

Required Qualifications

5-8 years of experience in government affairs or public policy, focusing on technology policy and regulatory affairs
Proven experience engaging with federal agencies and congressional offices
Track record of building relationships with think tanks, NGOs, and academic institutions
Strong understanding of technology issues such as AI, data governance, and cybersecurity
Exceptional judgment and diplomacy in politically sensitive situations
