Position Overview
The Senior Specialist, Graphic Design is responsible for delivering high-quality visual assets across web, social, and digital channels, with a strong focus on eCommerce, email, and performance-driven content. This role primarily supports the Garden of Life brand, with opportunities to contribute across additional brands as capacity allows. We are seeking a designer who operates beyond execution, bringing strong design thinking, creative ownership, and the ability to elevate work across multiple formats and touchpoints. While the role is primarily digital/ecommerce focused there is opportunity to support social platforms. You will partner closely with a cross-functional team of designers and stakeholders to develop and execute creative concepts aligned with project goals and brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with managers and other designers on the ideation and development of innovative visual solutions.
Participate in all aspects of design phase from creative strategy through final executions.
Conceptualize and create intuitive and engaging visual assets in support of creative concepts for digital marketing campaigns.
Prepare/present well-developed and strategic creative solutions to meet all project objectives.
Create and manage scalable digital systems such as style guides and component libraries to ensure design consistency across all digital projects and channels.
Work closely with department leadership to promote innovative thinking and creative excellence.
Follow all brand guidelines and principles.
Take constructive design feedback and refine as needed.
Execute digital design assets to meet all guidelines from third‑party partners and vendors (e.g., Aliyfy, Amazon, Costco, CVS, Walmart, Meta, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube).
Consistently design in a digital/mobile first mindset.
Develop and maintain expertise in the latest design tools and techniques.
Maintain strong understanding of current technologies, including web, social, video and mobile platform capabilities, and design industry best practices.
Continually stay abreast of digital design trends and best practices.
Manage and assist in photoshoots and video shoots, including upfront creative planning.
Other duties as required.
Experience and Education Requirements
3 years’ experience in digital design is strongly preferred.
Experience crafting a user journey and iterating design for web, e‑mail & social and other digital platforms.
Demonstrated experience building design systems, component libraries, or scalable templates.
Experience presenting creative work to stakeholders and incorporating feedback effectively.
Lifestyle brand background experience is preferred.
Strong Photoshop and retouching skills are essential.
Social media background a plus (art directing / concepting social assets).
Skills
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
Conceptual thinking with ability to translate creative strategy into visual execution.
Strong focus on and expertise in designing for email experiences.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to juggle multiple projects with fast deadlines.
Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) tools.
Understanding of marketing funnel concepts and performance‑driven creative.
Knowledge of social media platform specs, paid media formats, and best practices. Motion graphics/animation (After Effects, Premiere) is a plus.
Knowledge of AI platforms and the ability to integrate AI tools into project workflows to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance deliverable quality.
Understanding of UX/UI design principles is a plus.
Location and Work Arrangement
This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Strong preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey.
Compensation and Benefits
The approximate pay range for this position is $94,000 to $103,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
