Overview We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator, Emerging Markets, to lead marketing initiatives in our newest and fastest-growing sectors, with a primary focus on the Chicago market. Reporting directly to the Senior Market Manager of New and Emerging Markets, you will work alongside the marketing lead to bring campaigns to life—developing creative assets, driving community and stakeholder outreach, coordinating vendors, and ensuring our programs are executed with precision and brand integrity. This is a hands-on, high-impact, and highly collaborative role for someone who thrives on building. The Chicago market will mature, with the role expanding to support additional emerging markets, mirroring the scope of the marketing function.
As part of Accel’s expansion into emerging markets, you will gain broad, hands-on, cross-functional experience across creative design, communication, community relations, events, and analytics, working closely with the senior marketing leadership team.
Responsibilities Creative Production: Maintain brand standards; create sales decks, one-pagers, handouts, and signage mockups aligned with typography, color, and layout guidelines. Manage asset workflows and route creative assets to the design team for final refinement and approval.
Stakeholder & Community Outreach: Drive diverse outreach by building relationships with location owners and community partners using culturally resonant, multilingual materials. Manage localized assets and coordinate the review and localization of translated materials.
Sales Enablement: Develop licensing decks, segment-specific handouts, and field-visit collateral to accelerate the sales pipeline.
Vendor Coordination: Oversee production vendors, source and coordinate print, signage, video, and fulfillment vendors, secure quotes, and track timelines; ensure outsourced marketing collateral is delivered on time and within budget.
Reporting & Analytics: Track campaign metrics; maintain performance tracking tools and direct mail reports; synthesize data into actionable insights for future initiatives.
Communications: Craft clear, on-brand internal and external communications, including emails, announcements, and campaign messaging.
Events: Lead logistical coordination for field activations from initial planning through on-site execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align internal partners across sales, operations, data, and design to keep initiatives strategically aligned; foster team-first execution and share work early to involve the right partners.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or a related field. Relevant internships and project work count toward the experience requirement. Familiarity with gaming, hospitality, or another highly regulated industry is preferred. Prior experience supporting events or vendor coordination is preferred.
Skills & Competencies: Exceptional copywriting with the ability to craft clear internal and external communications; strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines; experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or a design-adjacent background is preferred; ability to build performance tracking tools and report on campaign metrics; genuine passion for cross-functional teamwork; proactive, self-starting approach; comfortable sharing early, partial work for refinement; ability to act as a central connective link across diverse teams.
