Senior PeopleSoft Developer

We are seeking an experienced

Senior PeopleSoft HCM Developer

to support the design, development, enhancement, and production support of our PeopleSoft HCM ERP environment. This role will focus primarily on

Payroll for North America, Time and Labor, and Absence Management

modules while ensuring adherence to industry best practices and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in PeopleSoft development, extensive experience supporting large-scale HCM implementations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements and customizations within the PeopleSoft HCM environment.
Support and maintain PeopleSoft modules including:

Payroll for North America
Time and Labor
Absence Management

Collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and project teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, system defects, and data inconsistencies.
Participate in on-call support rotations and provide advanced production support as needed.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
Create and maintain technical design documents, system specifications, and development standards.
Develop and execute unit testing, system testing, and deployment plans.
Ensure compliance with security, development, and application best practices.
Support data integrations and interface development across enterprise systems.
Participate in system upgrades, implementations, and ongoing optimization initiatives.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications

7+ years of PeopleSoft HCM development experience.
Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.x.
Experience supporting at least two large-scale PeopleSoft HCM implementations involving multiple locations and large user populations.
Strong experience with:

PeopleTools
Application Engine
PeopleCode
SQR
SQL and PL/SQL
Oracle Databases
BI Publisher

Deep understanding of PeopleSoft HCM data structures and architecture.
Proven ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience creating technical specifications, design documents, and test plans.

Experience with modern PeopleSoft technologies, including:
