Our client, a leading organization in the technology and communications industry, is seeking a Geek Street Technical Support 2 to join their team. As a Geek Street Technical Support 2, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting the Video and Event Services team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Austin, TX

What's the Job?
Operate, maintain, and upgrade video conferencing equipment, ensuring optimal performance for internal and external events.
Test environment and infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents related to video and audio conferencing tools.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute video conferencing events, including logistics and configuration.
Utilize management tools like ServiceNow for incident tracking, service tickets, and change requests.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot hardware/software issues and perform root cause analysis.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Typically 5 to 7 years of related work experience in video and AV services.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Extensive knowledge of video infrastructure, endpoint equipment, and industry-standard platforms like Cisco CUCM, Cisco TMS, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Poly Endpoints, and Zoom Rooms.
Basic understanding of networking, network protocols, and media encoders such as Wirecast and OBS.
