Overview

A well?established title services organization in Valley Stream is seeking an experienced Recording Specialist to handle multi?state recording, document review, and post?closing processing. This role requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with county and state recording requirements, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast?paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and submit real estate documents for recording across multiple states
Verify that deeds, mortgages, satisfactions, and related documents meet jurisdictional requirements
Communicate with county clerks, recording offices, and third?party vendors to resolve rejections or discrepancies
Track recording timelines and maintain accurate status updates in internal systems
Review post?closing packages for completeness and compliance
Ensure all fees, taxes, and recording charges are calculated and submitted correctly
Maintain organized digital and physical records of all recorded documents
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications

Multi?state recording experience is required
2+ years of experience in title, real estate, or recording operations
Strong understanding of county and state recording requirements and document standards
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and problem?solving skills
Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency with title software and Microsoft Office preferred

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $65,000.00 - $100,000.00
