Production Operator
We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our team in a dynamic and engaging work environment. This role involves preparing and mixing raw materials, ensuring accurate measurement and documentation, and operating machinery to produce high-quality products. This role will also require material handling (Forklift and pallet jack) and proper documentation of the inventory as it goes through the plant.
Responsibilities
Review all assigned batch sheets to ensure products can be made as designated.
Bring raw materials to the mixer and meter the correct amounts into the tank.
Return raw materials to their correct locations after use.
Remove samples of materials, label them with identifying information, and deliver samples to the laboratory for analysis.
Lift heavy objects by hand or with a power hoist, and clean the work area, machines, and equipment.
Operate a forklift to assist in loading or moving materials and products and load or unload trucks if needed.
Participate in cycle counts and physical inventories.
Package products from blended materials once approved.
Essential Skills
Experience in production, mixing, and blending operations.
Proficient in operating a forklift.
Ability to handle inventory and use RF scanners.
Competence in materials handling and moving material into the blending area and back to the staging area for shipment.
Accurate documentation and adherence to safety regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience with material handling and safety is a must.
Understanding of regulated documentation processes.

Work Environment
This role is based in a chemical plant, with work primarily conducted indoors but occasionally outdoors. The environment can get hot, requiring adaptability to varying temperatures.
Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Rockingham, NC.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
