Medical Writing Associate Director

Providing expert writing and editing support, the full-time salaried Associate Director, Medical Writing - Publications will ensure the timely production of high-quality documents for publication in medical/scientific journals while working remotely.
Key responsibilities

Manage and review data and source documents for publication, ensuring accuracy and relevance
Engage with internal and external authors to develop publication plans and strategies
Oversee outsourced medical writers and manage projects through the publication review system

Required qualifications

A PhD, MD, or PharmD with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's with at least 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/scientific field
Research experience in academia or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
Demonstrated ability to interpret and organize clinical and scientific data
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
Project management experience is preferred, along with knowledge in therapeutic areas such as immunology, neuroscience, and oncology
