Qualifications.
- At least three years of newsroom experience covering hard news.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media, or communications.
- Demonstrated strong reporting and writing skills with accurate and engaging storytelling.
- Strong knowledge of international news, particularly U.S. and China.
- Ability to generate original and newsworthy story ideas.
- Proficiency with social media and the ability to shoot, edit, present, and appear in videos.
- Ability to work in a deadline‑oriented environment.
- Willingness to work varied hours as required by news coverage.
- Highly self‑motivated and self‑directed.
