We are looking for junior assistant, senior and lead audio technicians in Washington DC.
iProbe Multilingual Solutions, Inc. is a New York City based company seeking freelance Audio Technicians in and around Washington DC with live events & staging experience to set-up, operate and strike Simultaneous Interpretation Systems during events at hotels, conference centers, corporate offices and museums. Systems are wireless (RF or IR). Candidates must be experienced in wireless systems and be able to identify sources of noise, experienced at troubleshooting and be able to maintain a professional and polished image under all circumstances. You must be able to work with clients and effectively communicate. Having a valid driver’s license and/or own vehicle is a plus.
Jobs mainly consists of setting up isolation booths, wireless interpretation equipment in the VHF band (72 Mhz band), or running digital IR for 20-200 attendees who will be in the same (small) room and monitoring the wireless audio during the events.
For lead and senior techs , the preference goes to A1/A2’s with solid experience in RF and a client friendly and professional demeanor (the tech needs to be able to interface with client). They also need to be able to work independently and be able to take charge.
For assistant techs

we’re looking for service minded polished professionals who have an interested in working in AV. We also will consider experienced technicians willing to assist on some jobs. The preference goes out to junior and mid level AV professionals with experience setting up full isolation booths or willing to learn. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Depending on job, dress code is business (black suit and tie) or show black. For assist work we usually pay hourly.
