POSITION SUMMARY:
We are currently in search of an innovative and experienced Graphic Layout Designer to join our Creative team. The ideal candidate will have a versatile creative portfolio including experience in creating marketing materials both online and print, POP displays, look books as well as creating original designs, prints and artwork for brand product lines. At least 3-5 years of previous experience designing and creating artwork for apparel with a strong lifestyle and sneakerhead influence.

Ethika’s creative team members work closely with one another and in a hands-on environment. This individual will report to the Art Director and will require someone who is driven, has a strong understanding of the Ethika brand and consumer, with the ability to work comfortably in a team environment. The ability to receive feedback easily and incorporate it into your work is a must.

DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:

Efficiently and creatively design art for all apparel

Assist with development of creative for print, digital, and marketing

Ability to brainstorm, collaborate and take creative direction easily

Work directly with Art Director and design team to create look books, catalogs, marketing materials, POP/POS, tech packs, innovative underwear designs, etc.

Ability to translate feedback from Art Director into finished designs

Ensure files for production are properly built and work with specified parameters on a per-project basis

Must be highly detail-oriented, well organized and able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment

Perform work on multiple projects simultaneously prioritizing projects to meet deadlines

Must be familiar with all stages of design development lifecycle

You will be required to complete market research, creative briefs, mood boards, color palettes, rough sketches, design options, and final artwork

Must be able to create multiple colorways for a variety of styles each season

In addition to design work, this person will work with Category VPs, merchandisers, and development teams in collaboration to bring product designs to life

This person must be able to create and edit original artwork, prints, and patterns in multiple styles and mediums

QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5 years of graphic design experience

Must have an artistic background influenced by sneakerhead

Previous production experience preparing files for print and web

Committed to supporting team and company culture on a daily basis

Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Mac, etc

Working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel

Strong ability to handle multiple projects at once, while prioritizing deadlines

Consistent ability to execute dynamic design projects from conception to completion

Previous experience in underwear design is highly desirable

Able to take ownership of projects and execute
