News Producer

WDJT-TV CBS 58, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. WDJT-TV is looking for an innovative, communicative, and driven News Producer.

What You’ll Do

  • Produce timely, engaging news content for newscasts
  • Leverage modern graphics and innovative production techniques to enhance storytelling
  • Collaborate closely with photojournalists to develop and execute assigned stories
  • Generate story ideas, conduct in depth research, and manage footage logging

What You’ll Need

  • Strong multiplatform journalism skills and a passion for delivering impactful news
  • Sound news judgement, with a clear understanding of the urgency surrounding breaking news and severe weather coverage
  • Exceptional writing and copy-editing skills with a strong creative voice
  • Sharp attention to detail, understanding of brand standards, and a commitment to producing quality products
  • Experience producing local newscasts
