News Producer
WDJT-TV CBS 58, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. WDJT-TV is looking for an innovative, communicative, and driven News Producer.
What You’ll Do
- Produce timely, engaging news content for newscasts
- Leverage modern graphics and innovative production techniques to enhance storytelling
- Collaborate closely with photojournalists to develop and execute assigned stories
- Generate story ideas, conduct in depth research, and manage footage logging
What You’ll Need
- Strong multiplatform journalism skills and a passion for delivering impactful news
- Sound news judgement, with a clear understanding of the urgency surrounding breaking news and severe weather coverage
- Exceptional writing and copy-editing skills with a strong creative voice
- Sharp attention to detail, understanding of brand standards, and a commitment to producing quality products
- Experience producing local newscasts
