This role blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution and works closely with partnership, product, and client success teams to drive growth and mission impact.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute ELV's comprehensive marketing and communications strategy in partnership with the Executive Director, aligned to national expansion goals and measurable KPIs
Own brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity, establishing ELV as a thought leader in early childhood education technology and the child care shared services model
Lead content strategy across web, social, email, and thought leadership — writing and editing case studies, white papers, newsletters, press releases, and executive communications
Design and run integrated campaigns supporting membership growth, state partnerships, and provider acquisition, with performance tracking and optimization
Create pitch decks, impact reports, and proposal materials for high‑priority partnership and state‑contract opportunities
Manage event marketing for conferences, webinars, and leadership summits
Build and maintain media, industry, and strategic‑partner relationships to amplify ELV's visibility and credibility
Manage marketing operations — budget, vendors, and automation/CMS/analytics tools — coordinating across product, client success, business development, and child care partnership teams
What You Bring

7+ years of progressive marketing and communications experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role
Proven track record building and executing marketing strategy for technology-enabled, SaaS, or mission-driven organizations
Expertise across brand development, content marketing, digital campaigns, and stakeholder communications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level content
Experience managing marketing budgets, vendor relationships, and cross-functional teams
