Overview
Analyst Relations at Perficient is a high‑leverage function that influences how enterprise buyers understand our capabilities, wins, and distinct point of view. Strong analyst relationships today can lead to leadership positions on ranking reports tomorrow, building pipeline for future quarters.
Responsibilities
Support strategic communications programs by developing content tailored to analyst audiences, including Forrester, Everest, and IDC, for thought‑leadership campaigns and broader PR strategy.
Develop ongoing content that supports communications initiatives such as company intranet updates, website articles, and thought‑leadership pieces.
Build and manage relationships with marketing, PR, and communications colleagues to align analyst‑relations activity with company‑wide messaging and reputation goals.
Manage project workflows, timelines, and deadlines, and administer analyst subscriptions and internal communications resources.
Lead the creation of presentations and collateral used in analyst conversations and supporting PR efforts for pitching and media engagement.
Review, summarize, and track relevant research for internal stakeholders.
Maintain a calendar of planned research, monitoring analyst coverage alongside press and media support.
Produce monthly reporting that shows results, insights, impact, and measures program success.
Provide strategic input on opportunities to evolve plans and processes to grow program success and expand relationship‑building activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s level degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing.
Four to five years of professional experience in analyst relations, with proficient knowledge of public relations.
Working knowledge of how analyst relations and public relations intersect, including how analyst perspectives can inform media narratives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to understand and create content from SME interviews and technical documents.
Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Advanced PowerPoint skills for building custom presentations.
Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts, strategies, and initiatives.
Sound project management and time‑management skills; detail‑oriented, highly organized, and capable of multitasking.
Ability to work professionally with leaders throughout the organization.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; highly motivated, autonomous, and proactive.
Team player, self‑starter with a passion for technology and a commitment to elevating the group’s marketing mission.
Technology industry and/or professional services experience is a plus.
Preferred Signals We Look For
AR coordinators or specialists ready to step into a senior role with more strategic surface area.
PR or corporate communications professionals curious about the analyst side and eager to make the jump.
Former trade‑press or B2B tech journalists who already read research for a living and want to be on the other side of it.
Someone who has personally staffed a Wave, MarketScape, or PEAK Matrix response and can share that experience.
Salary and Benefits
Salary range: $50,000–$80,000 (base only). Perficient full‑time employees receive competitive benefits, including paid time off and holidays, and eligibility for bonus opportunities. Additional benefits include a robust rewards and recognition program and a supportive work‑life balance.
