What You’ll Do
- Capture, edit, and produce engaging stories across franchise platforms.
- Optimize and customize content at all times based on platform‑specific qualities to maximize engagement and grow the fanbase; advanced knowledge of all channels (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube Shorts, Reels, and Broadcast) and their unique qualities to cater to each audience.
- Provide support to peers, assisting with content reviews, contributing to discussions, and escalating any attention needs to the Director.
- Assist with distribution of final approved content pieces to the appropriate channel owners.
- Contribute to brainstorms, pitch concepts, and test new opportunities based on trends or visions.
- Work with a diverse group of important internal and external partners, cross‑department peers, clients, and fans at all levels—being a peer champion for direct teammates.
- Use strong independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload in a fast‑paced sports environment.
- Assist in the overall operational health of the Content Team—championing adherence to organizational processes, best practices, and standards.
Who You Are
- A bachelor’s degree, technical degree, and five years’ experience in a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere as well as Photoshop and After Effects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other required computer skills.
- Experience using professional cinema cameras including RED and Sony FX cameras.
- Experience creating and producing branded content for sports organizations is preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed for business purposes.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent sitting on a basketball court in small spaces, standing on the sidelines of a soccer pitch, walking up and down arena stairs, walking briskly to edit clips or run memory cards during games for content relevancy.
- Frequent constant finger dexterity required to use a computer keyboard to complete tasks.
- Frequent sitting for long periods of time while editing.
- Occasional loading gear for production shoots, carrying gear from car to location.
- Occasional other physical requirements might arise based on the unique video shoots each season.
