Fractional Marketing Communications Consultant
Location: St. Louis, MO

ACME Constructors is seeking a hands‑on Fractional Marketing Communications Consultant who can transform project experience, technical expertise, employee ownership, and customer success stories into content and business‑development assets that help win work, strengthen client confidence, attract talent, and support growth .

This role is approximately 70% execution and 30% strategy.

What You’ll Do
Support Business Development & Growth

Create project case studies, project profiles, and customer success stories

Support proposals, Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), presentations, and award submissions

Capture project information, photography, testimonials, and lessons learned

Develop technical resumes for project managers, directors, and executives

Build a library of reusable business‑development assets

Increase Market Visibility

Manage LinkedIn and Facebook

Launch Instagram

Create written, photo, and video content

Promote ACME’s projects, people, expertise, and culture

Support content marketing, digital marketing, and brand‑awareness initiatives

Strengthen Recruiting & Employer Branding

Create employee spotlight stories and videos

Develop recruiting‑focused content

Showcase ACME’s employee‑owned culture and career opportunities

Manage Website & Digital Presence

Maintain content on ACME’s new WordPress website

Publish project spotlights, company news, and technical content

Support SEO and website optimization initiatives

Ensure information across digital platforms remains accurate and current

Build Marketing Infrastructure

Develop brand standards and messaging guidelines

Create content templates and marketing assets

Build content libraries and repeatable processes

Improve consistency across recruiting, customer‑facing, and marketing communications

Support Reputation & Industry Recognition

Help manage company profiles on Google Business, Indeed, Glassdoor, and other platforms

Support online reviews and reputation initiatives

Assist with industry awards and recognition programs

Required Qualifications

3–5+ years of marketing, communications, agency, consulting, public relations, content marketing, digital marketing, industrial marketing, construction marketing, or B2B marketing experience

Strong writing, interviewing, storytelling, and communication skills

Experience creating content that supports business objectives

Experience managing social media and digital content

Experience maintaining WordPress websites

Strong project‑management and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and drive projects forward

Preferred

Industrial construction, engineering, or manufacturing experience

Technical writing experience

Photography and video production experience

Experience supporting proposals, qualifications packages, case studies, or award submissions

Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, and similar technologies to improve research, content development, workflow efficiency, and productivity while maintaining accuracy, quality, and brand consistency

ESOP experience

Regular onsite visits to ACME offices, jobsites, and company facilities are expected to gather content, conduct interviews, and support company initiatives.
