Sports Video Productions Crew Member

This position supports live video/television productions of Miami University Athletics events, working in a variety of roles throughout each broadcast.
Essential Duties:
Operate a broadcast camera to capture live game action and shot sequences during Miami University Athletics events
Operate the NewTek TriCaster production switcher to support live video/television production
Operate the 3Play Instant Replay system to capture, cue, and roll instant replays during live broadcasts
Operate Ross Xpression graphics software to build and trigger on-screen graphics, including scoreboards, lower-thirds, and stat overlays
Mix and monitor live audio feeds during broadcasts
Assist production staff as needed in the role of Production Assistant, including setup, breakdown, and general production support
Rotate through the above positions as assigned based on event needs and staffing
Minimum Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of sports
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous broadcast/production experience is helpful but not required — training will be provided
Salary will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 20
