Event Tech
Pay Range: $24.00- $49.00 This position will function primarily as part of the live event presentation crew at Honda Center in the broadcast/control room and in-arena environments focusing on hockey, basketball, and other live events. The Event Tech will work at least one or more of the following positions:

Responsibilities
Provide hands-on support for live sporting events, including, but not limited to, Daktronics ribbons and scoreboard, audio booth, broadcast control room, Triple Play's IPTV system, and stage manager duties
Assist the Entertainment Department with the planning and execution of live promotions, events, and activities
Participate in rehearsals, including sound check, communication device check, camera set-up, playlist/scripts review, and all pre-game checks as needed
Coordinate with contestants, Ducks Power Players, Ice Crew, staff, hosts, mascots, promotional teams, and additional talent for proper execution of all live elements, including opening introductions, in-game promotions, intermission activities, ceremonies, color guard, and additional performers
Skills
High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Knowledge of one or more of the following: Ikegami HDK-95C cameras, Ross Acuity 3, Ross Xpression, Ross Inception, Evertz DreamCatcher, Daktronics Show Control & Venus 7000, Yamaha CL5 Audio Board, and Triple Play
Able to multitask while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Willing and able to learn additional positions and cross-train when possible
Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a live broadcast or live sports environment, TV/Film production, live event management, or relevant experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be able to work in a team-oriented and creative environment
Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience Required - 3-5 Years
