Social Objects is the leading agency for TikTok LIVE, serving the top TikTok Shop brands in each category out of our 15K SQFT Hollywood Studios.
Role Overview
The Producer owns a small book of client brands end-to-end. The core of the role is strategic: knowing each brand’s catalog and economics well enough to decide what to sell, how to frame it, and which levers to pull to drive high-converting TikTok LIVE streams. Producers are accountable for measurable performance improvement against each account’s baseline, healthy client relationships, and reliable live operations.
Core Responsibilities
Performance Strategy & Conversion
Develop deep fluency in each brand’s catalog, margins, and pricing — and own the offer strategy (discounting, bundling, time-boxed deals) that drives conversion and order value.
Decide product mix and sequencing for each show based on what converts.
Own show format and the levers that move performance: pacing, scripting, pinned products, demos, auctions, drops, founder or guest appearances, studio setup, and live timing.
Run structured tests, document results, and turn what works into repeatable approaches across the book.
Operate with awareness of per-account unit economics, weighing every lever against margin and not just top-line GMV.
Host Coaching
Prep hosts before each session on product selling points and narratives.
Direct hosts in the moment and coach the host/moderator partnership, so presenting, comments, and product-pinning are shared rather than overwhelming one person.
Coach hosts through difficult comments and objections live — price, fit, and quality.
Debrief afterward to compound improvement over time, pulling strong performances out of imperfect lineups.
Competitive Analysis
Study competitor and best-in-class streams — via replays, TikTok’s LIVE diagnosis tools, and third-party analytics — to identify what is working.
Translate those observations into specific tactics to deploy in the team’s own streams, and bring strong new formats and platform features into the book early.
Client Ownership
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned brands.
Run regular check-ins, deliver weekly reporting, and maintain a consistent communication cadence.
Identify and elevate risks early; loop in leadership on pricing changes, scope changes, dissatisfaction, or escalations.
Live Operations & Staffing
Ensure target live hours per month are scheduled and delivered for each account, with hosts and techs coordinated and sessions ready from prep through post-session reporting.
Run or tech live sessions directly when needed, including moderating.
Authority & Guardrails
Independently schedules support-tech hours up to a defined threshold per account; overages above threshold require executive approval.
Visibility into per-account labor cost and margin; expected to operate with awareness of unit economics.
Producer owns: show strategy and offers within agreed pricing, format and creative direction, host coaching, normal operations, scheduling, day-to-day client communication, and performance reporting.
Producer escalates: pricing, scope changes, client dissatisfaction, and strategic decisions on highest-priority accounts.
How Success Is Measured
Quarterly performance review against a balanced scorecard:
40% Performance Improvement — KPI improvement vs. account-specific baseline, tests launched and completed, execution against agreed levers.
30% Client Health — responsiveness, renewal support, low escalation count, consistent meeting and reporting cadence.
30% Service Reliability — percentage of scheduled live hours delivered, staffing fill rate, minimal last-minute failures, on-time reporting.
Performance is measured against each account’s own baseline rather than absolute leaderboard ranking, normalizing fairly across brands with different starting points and asset quality.
What We’re Looking For

Pattern recognition on what actually moves performance
A coaching instinct with onscreen talent — comfortable prepping hosts, giving direction in real time, and pulling strong performances out of imperfect lineups
Calm under pressure
Sound judgment in live problem-solving
Credibility with clients in conversations
Reliability and follow-through on commitments
