Assist in the direction of the instrumental music program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or Performance from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate recommended
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of overall operations of an instrumental music program
- Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of state, TMEA, and UIL policies governing band
Experience:
- At least five (5) years demonstrating successful teaching in an ensemble setting.
