Sales Coordinator, Leisure, Sales & Marketing (FT)

Sales Coordinator We are looking for a motivated Sales Coordinator to assist the Sales Office and Group Sales Managers in achieving the department’s long‑term goals and objectives.
Essential Functions Provide excellent customer service to our clients and their guests, third party and direct bookings.
Maintain visibility and integrity of the department throughout the resort, promoting mutual cooperation to ensure clients receive the promised service.
Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with accounts.
Support sales initiatives across the Sales Office, acting as an interior sales contact and liaison, and assist with group leads when sales representatives are absent or traveling.
Assist in the preparation for travel and tradeshows.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Two years’ experience in customer service in a hotel environment.
Fluency in speaking, reading, writing and understanding the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently.
Ability to establish objectives, master goals, and identify opportunities for account development.
Capacity to act independently with minimal or no supervision.
Basic computational ability.
Computer skills including accounting programs, Microsoft Word, Excel and Delphi; using Delphi for note and account entries after trade shows and telephone activity, with required math and budgetary analysis skills.
Physical Demands Most tasks are performed indoors at a desk. A moderate, climate‑controlled environment is provided. Responsibilities include up to five hours of sitting per day, walking and standing the rest of the day, traveling to meetings as needed, and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds. Applicants must possess sufficient grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity to perform these functions.
