OBL/ASC Director

Lead growth strategies and operational objectives for Office-Based Labs (OBL) and Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC), developing national strategy for business interactions, identifying opportunities, and providing customers with technology, information, and support to deliver optimized patient care.

Responsibilities

Source new OBL business franchises

Identify strategies to grow existing OBLs, negotiate solutions, and draft contracts

Assist in reimbursement/revenue solution portfolio discussions with OBL owners

Train RSDs and field staff on OBL strategy and execution

Strong presentation skills

Collaborate with OBL/ASC specialists, marketing, and senior leadership to develop healthcare solutions related to OPFs

Collaborate with RSDs and AVPs

Create value propositions for Abbott Vascular in the OPC environment

Coordinate and utilize HE&R field resources to focus on reimbursement trends and education

Provide strategic input to the organization to address the OPC environment and meet corporate objectives

Contribute sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews about Physician Owned Outpatient Centers

Qualifications

10+ years of sales or marketing experience in healthcare, with at least 5+ years in OBL business modeling (e.g., business management, capital/imaging, financing, reimbursement)

Sales experience preferred

Experience working with medical LLCs or small businesses, with strong business acumen

Advanced knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines

Extensive experience negotiating contracts and deal structures

Experience using tools such as Excel or PowerBI to analyze customer trends and identify growth opportunities

Education
Bachelor's Degree (± 16 years), preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Economics.
