Full-time Houston-based role providing strategic direction and hands-on execution across attorney, practice group, office, and firm-wide marketing and business development initiatives.
Conceptualizes and manages client-facing events, sponsorships, seminars, speaking opportunities, and relationships with Texas-based and national organizations.
Coordinates Texas-based media relations, external communications, website/blog/social content, legal surveys, rankings, and ensures accuracy of marketing materials.
Works with client teams on pitches and proposals, prepares materials, rehearses presentations, and identifies thought-leadership and market opportunities through research and analysis.
Partners with the COO, Director of Business Development, Texas partners, practice groups, and a seven-person multi-office marketing team to support firm growth.
Qualifications:
a bachelor's degree
5-7 years of professional services marketing experience (legal preferred)
strong writing and analytical skills
CRM familiarity
MS Office proficiency
the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
