Tenure-Track Orchestra Director

Carleton College invites applications for the Eugene S. Bailey Director of the Carleton Orchestra, a full time tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning September 1, 2027. Doctoral degree in instrumental conducting required by that date; ABD candidates considered in exceptional cases.
The successful candidate will teach, conduct, and shape undergraduate music ensembles within a liberal arts setting, with additional duties defined by departmental needs and the candidate's interests.
