Contract HPLC/GC Scientist

Job Description
We are seeking a Chemist with experience in HPLC and GC for a 2-3 month contract. This role involves testing, evaluation, and quality control responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform HPLC and GC testing/techniques using Empower software

Troubleshoot instrument/equipment issues

Conduct method verifications and validations on new methods

Calibrate instruments/equipment

Maintain detailed, accurate records of specifications, test data, results, and deviations

Evaluate test results for accuracy

Review and release raw data, documentation, and results for Certificates of Analysis

Prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory purposes

Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, ISO 17025, and other applicable standards

Utilize computer skills effectively

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment

Work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related science field

Minimum of 1 year industry experience with HPLC and GC

Additional Information
This is a contract role for 2-3 months, working Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates residing within commuting distance to North Brunswick, NJ are encouraged to apply.
