The

Division of University Advancemen t is seeking a detail-driven

Digital Production Specialist

to support email marketing and digital communications that connect alumni and donors to UB's mission. In this role, you'll help execute and optimize campaigns that advance student success, research, and philanthropic impact across the university.

Key responsibilities include:

Bring email campaigns to life

by building and deploying effective Marketing Cloud campaigns, using journeys, dynamic content, and templates to drive engagement and support divisional goals.
Turn data into actionable insight

by analyzing campaign performance, developing reports for stakeholders, and using trends and testing (A/B, predictive scoring) to continuously improve outreach strategies.
Partner across the division

by supporting schools and units with their email communications, managing data requests, and collaborating with Advancement Communications, Application Support, and data teams to ensure coordinated, effective campaigns.
Support a dynamic digital presence

by serving as backup for website and social media updates and contributing to a cohesive, high-impact online experience for UB's audiences.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience is required. Preferably holds a degree in communications, marketing, public relations, media study, or similar field.
A minimum of 1 year of experience working to develop email campaigns and analyze outcomes.
Experience in and enthusiasm for working with digital communications, especially email and social media.
Experience with email marketing platforms (Marketing Cloud preferred).
Experience tracking, assessing and making recommendations on analytics.
Experience with website content management systems (CMS).
Experience posting on social media platforms.
