3rd Shift- Production

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions has partnered with

a prominent automotive company located in Topeka, IN to manufacture seals (door, window, trunk, sunroof) for automotive.

We are in search of several employees to fill machine operator / assembly roles for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift to start immediately!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Pay $18.22/hr
2nd Shift $.75/hr shift premium
3rd Shift $1/hr shift premium
1st Shift: 6am - 2:20pm, 2nd Shift: 2pm - 10:20pm, 3rd Shift: 10pm - 6:20am
Follow Standard Work in performing all tasks as assigned
Safely utilize tools (knives, nippers, etc.) and secondary equipment to produce high quality products and includes knowing how to use Personal Protective Equipment, proper lifting techniques, safety around machines and forklifts.
Assemble and/or run a machine to produce rubber weather strips for windows, sunroofs, and doors.
Use hand and air tools to produce rubber seals.
Use proper trimming techniques (as trained per standard work)
Ensure the right part is placed in the correct packaging per applicable standard work
Using "quality criteria" ensure products are produced in a manner to meet established quality standards
Qualifications/Requirements:

Manufacturing/machine operator experience a plus but not required
Ability to stand for 8-12 hours a day
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Ability to read and follow written work instructions
Ability to work overtime
Some positions require lifting to 50 pounds
