Social Media Editor - Volunteer

HopeMatch is a local charity serving those who are unseen and underserved in the Greater Charlotte, North Carolina area. We started as a Christmas program, but have grown into much more. While our Christmas program of matching local families in need with people who want to provide personalized Christmas gifts and encouragement to their neighbor is still the heart of what we do, we have expanded our services to address the growing needs of the families we serve. Throughout the year, you will find multiple ways to give financially and volunteer, all while making a lasting difference in your community.

Volunteer Role
HOPEmatch is looking for a volunteer to join the team to provide social media content creation for the organization.

Responsibilities

Receive a social media plan from the Director each Thursday before the content week.

Create and deliver content by the following Monday.

Develop creative ways to tell our story and support the organization’s mission.

Qualifications & Commitments

Commitment of at least one year to learn the organization and build a long-term partnership.

No residency requirement, though living in the Charlotte, NC area is a plus if you can attend events to take photos/videos.
