The Manager, Brand Activation & Experiences on Hennessy works in tandem with the Brand Activation & Experiences Director to create and manage all of Hennessy’s activation experiences. The role is focused on bringing the brand positioning, identity, and cocktail approach to life through elevated and game changing moments and experiences including but not limited to major tentpole activations, trade advocacy and community programming.
A key focus is curating “social first” moments that continue to drive cultural relevance for Hennessy and support the brand in its efforts to recruit the next generation of drinkers.
Office/Location: Hybrid 3x a week based out of NYC Office.
Job Responsibilities Event/Experiential Marketing Support Activation Director in driving breakthrough, innovative and memorable activation across all National experiential initiatives for the brand
Lead Regional event execution to ensure alignment across brand priorities
Support Activation Director on experiential strategy planning and creation of playbooks
Vet ad hoc event opportunities and sponsorships for consideration
Stay informed on latest consumer and marketplace trends driving innovation and breakthrough activations
Create “social first” moments extract maximum PR and social media coverage in partnership with P/O/E team
Bring evolved cocktail strategy to life showcasing lighter, brighter and fresher approach
Agency and Internal Management Create 48-hour reports post activation highlighting key wins and topline performance
Develop Activation recap inputs post activation including performance and key learnings
Responsible for project status documents, KPI reporting, activation assets, and shared drives for Activation Director
Manages agency process workback timelines, deliverables, and key milestones
Project updates to internal working teams
Support Director with Brand Ambassador and Team Hennessy deliverables and reporting.
Stakeholder Relationships Partner with Brand Team, Maison, Region teams, and Procurement to gain input and support for opportunities & priorities required to achieve plans
Lead the annual planning process regarding all Event and Experiential plans in partnership with Brand Manager, Trade Marketing and Brand Director, Business Planning
Share best practices across local and Global teams to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
Education Bachelor’s Degrees, or MBA Degree and/or years of equivalent experience.
Professional Experience & Skills 5-7 years of experience in an agency, brand, or entertainment role supporting activations and IRL moments
Highly effective written and spoken communicator; comfortable presenting in large groups
Expert in Microsoft Suite; is a gifted storyteller via PowerPoint and can organize details via Excel
Detail oriented with strong skills in project and timeline management; can manage large, complex tasks proactively and autonomously
Exceptional knowledge and pulse on cultural trends
Excellent understanding of PR and Social landscape
“Can do” attitude – willing to jump into big, culture-defining projects - and equally determined to manage project budgets flawlessly
Agency experience (with experiential, music, creative or PR) a big plus; experience being a key contact within an IAT
Maintain a flexible and adaptable mindset by continually evaluating, revising, and responding with agility to meet rapidly evolving business needs, and perform other functions and duties as assigned.
