Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate Music Minister who specializes in blended worship to lead our music program, which consists of a choir, instrumental ensemble, and praise team. In this role, you will develop the music program to foster worship through hymns and modern praise songs. This position is part-time and flexible with no set schedule other than Sundays and Wednesday evenings.
Responsibilities

Lead congregational singing during worship services, ensuring an uplifting and spiritual atmosphere.
Select appropriate music that aligns with Scripture and enhances the message of each service.
Rehearse once a week with the choir, band, and worship team to prepare for upcoming services and events.
Collaborate with pastors and ministry leaders to plan meaningful worship services.
Maintain musical equipment, oversee song arrangements, and ensure all performances meet high standards of excellence.
Experience

Music experience and proven experience leading blended worship.
Strong teaching skills to guide musicians of varying skill levels in both technical proficiency and spiritual understanding.
Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire teams, coordinate rehearsals, and manage multiple projects effectively.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff, volunteers, and congregation members clearly and positively.
