Director of Federal Government Affairs

Driving corporate policy development and implementation, the full-time Director of Federal Government Affairs will engage with federal government officials and industry groups to advocate for company interests, prepare policy briefings, and influence public policy while working remotely or in Washington, D.C.
Key responsibilities:

Collaborate with teams to shape organizational policies and advocacy strategies related to federal government matters
Analyze proposed federal legislation to assess its potential impact on the organization and recommend positions on key issues
Educate federal policymakers on industry issues and represent the company in trade associations to further corporate priorities

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 15-18 years of related experience, including 10+ years in management
Experience working with Congress and federal government policymakers
Strong knowledge of federal legislative and regulatory processes
Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior-level stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively
