Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking

The Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking develops and manages commercial client relationships by delivering lending, treasury management, and cash management solutions. This role drives growth through new business development, expands existing relationships, and serves as a trusted advisor on financing and cash flow strategies to enhance client success and profitability.
Major Duties
Develop, manage, and expand commercial banking relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while growing revenue across credit and non credit products and services.
Serve as a trusted advisor by providing guidance on financing strategies, cash flow optimization, treasury management, and capital structure needs.
Structure and negotiate complex commercial lending and financing transactions, including pricing, terms, and documentation.
Analyze financial statements, assess creditworthiness, and prepare credit recommendations for approval.
Partner with internal business units and subject matter experts to deliver comprehensive banking solutions and address client needs.
Prepare client proposals and presentations and resolve service issues to maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required.
5 to 7 years of commercial banking, lending, equipment finance, financial analysis, or client relationship management experience.
Experience evaluating credit risk, underwriting loans, and analyzing financial statements.
Strong knowledge of commercial lending products, treasury management services, and applicable banking regulations.
Demonstrated business development, relationship management, and consultative sales skills.
Ability to structure and negotiate complex financing transactions.
Strong analytical, problem solving, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Formal credit training program experience preferred.
Ability to travel regularly to client locations.
Salary Range: $78,945 - 134,235 USD
