Strategic Public Information Officer & Media Liaison

Clayton County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Sheriff Public Information Officer to develop and manage public information and education programs, reporting to the Sheriff.
The PIO will coordinate with media, monitor social channels, prepare releases, and represent the department at events, interviews, and public forums, with a focus on accurate, timely communication.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field and at least four years of public relations experience.
