NEWS VIDEOGRAPHER - KVVU Job at Gray Local Media, Inc in Henderson

Job Summary/Description KVVU-TV, FOX5, Las Vegas, is looking for someone with an eye for news and a creative vision to tell stories through the lens of their camera. The candidate must be self‑motivated, have good communication skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties/Responsibilities Gather video, interviews, and information for stories.
Set up and execute live shots.
Edit stories for broadcast, web, and social media platforms.
Contribute to the entire editorial process, including sourcing, story construction, and presentation.
Use ENG cameras and cellular live broadcast devices (Live U).
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements Minimum 2–3 years of prior videography experience in a TV newsroom.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in journalism, TV production, or related field – equivalent experience considered.
Non‑linear editing experience.
Computer proficiency.
Proven ability to post content on social media platforms.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Flexible schedule with on‑call assignments.
MVR check during pre‑employment.
