Responsibilities:
Wiring and soldering.
Termination: strip, crimp, and terminate various wire types and sizes to terminal blocks, relays, contactors, and PLCs.
Tubing and general assembly of mechanical and electrical components.
Material handling.
Workstation upkeep including adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.
Blueprint reading: interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and bill of materials (BOMs) to plan the layout.
Component Mounting: install DIN rail, wire duct, and electrical components securely using standard hardware and hand tools.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2+ years experience in manufacturing, assembly or production environment.
Capacity to read wiring diagrams, wire lists, schematics, and follow visual assembly instructions.
Competency using small hand tools (e.g., strippers, crimpers, torque drivers, calipers).
Ability to perform light lifting (typically up to 20-25lbs).
High level of focus and patience to follow exact blueprints and prevent assembly errors.
