Bloomberg LP has built a significant media business spanning television, digital, magazine, radio and live event platforms across the globe. In the midst of a historic time in the media industry, Bloomberg Media is growing its global footprint and reach through new innovations from Quicktake to New Economy to our rapidly growing consumer subscription business.
Bloomberg Television is looking for a highly motivated line producer to join one of our flagship politics program. This role is based in our New York headquarters.
You will be responsible for monitoring top stories of key interest to our audience, taking the initiative on covering breaking news, finding the appropriate voices under deadline pressure, stacking a daily rundown, working with anchors and other producers and guiding the live show in the control room. Exceptional writing skills are essential, including crafting compelling guest introductions, segment teases and breaking news copy under deadline. You should have a broad interest in company news, international relations and economics.

WE'LL TRUST YOU TO:
Build a daily show that covers the top market‑moving stories
Be proactive – pitch ideas, be creative, bring your expertise to the table and elevate our content
Pitch newsmakers and stories
Develop relationships within the business, finance communities globally
Write sharp, engaging copy with relevant elements for guest intros, teases and headlines
Ensure all scripts, graphics and editorial content meet Bloomberg's standards for accuracy and clarity
Work closely with the executive producer, senior producer, associate producer and talent
Work well under pressure in a fast–paced newsroom environment
Be able to pivot and react as news events evolve
YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience producing for live TV
Knowledge of business news and the financial markets
Problem solving skills, with the ability to work under deadline pressure
Flexibility with hours
Salary Range = 100,000 – 125,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.

Bloomberg Audio & Radio has a rare opportunity for a motivated, hardworking Producer to lead its evening programming from New York. In this full-time position, the Producer will lead our coverage by writing, booking and directing several hours of daily programming. The Producer sets the editorial agenda and vision for Bloomberg's live audio programming. In this role, they will select stories, write scripts, book guests, edit audio, and direct the show. Candidates for this opening should have extensive experience in audio storytelling, strong editorial judgment, commitment to detail and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced setting.
