Position Overview

As an Inter‑State Studio Photographer, you will set up provided equipment, pose, and photograph students and staff on‑site at schools. This role blends your technical photography skills with the ability to work in a dynamic environment. If you have an eye for detail and can make people feel comfortable in front of the camera, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities

Set up photography equipment and prepare the studio area at each school location.
Guide students and staff in posing and ensure candid moments are captured.
Operate camera and lighting equipment to achieve high‑quality portraits.
Maintain organized workflow, including file naming and backup during sessions.
Assist with equipment transport, including driving up to two hours one‑way.
Comply with safety and disability accommodations as required.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation capable of carrying photography equipment.
Capacity to drive up to two hours one‑way and have adequate insurance coverage.
Background check requirement: Motor Vehicle Report.
Abilities and Skills

Photography experience preferred but not required – training will be provided.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and volunteers.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills and access to email.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
