Overview
AtkinsRéalis seeks a Product Specialist – Civil 3D to join our team in Orlando, FL; Atlanta, GA; and Austin, TX. This role is also open to other locations nationally.
The role is dynamic and includes opportunities to shape and contribute to the growth and maturity of digital solutions within civil/site disciplines. It focuses on providing product support and customized solutions for complex, multidisciplinary projects, with the goal of optimized delivery, enhanced quality, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities include developing or enhancing workspaces, troubleshooting product issues, creating custom tools, and developing training plans to support the user base.
Technical proficiency in Autodesk products such as Civil 3D, Infraworks, Navisworks, and some Revit experience is expected. Knowledge of Autodesk configuration and customization, as well as Autodesk Forma and Desktop Connector, is mandatory. Proven proficiency through certifications, portfolio, or other evidence is required. Experience in Bentley products and/or cross‑platform projects is preferred. Dynamo scripting experience is a plus.
Your role
Support the Digital Design Director and regional aviation and civil/site groups in implementing digital innovation and transformation.
Track, develop, troubleshoot, or enhance OpenRoads Designer workspaces as needed.
Engage with project teams to identify, explore, and challenge digital strategies.
Assess and develop internal training, upskilling, and awareness programs to ensure colleagues can meet evolving client needs.
Develop and leverage asset information management strategies to meet the growing demand within the practice.
Champion the responsibilities of the information management function as described in ISO 19650.
Support project CAD/BIM managers and coordinators in technical support functions.
Support global and national digital transformation initiatives.
Establish project processes that ensure the maturation of the Information Model.
Work with discipline leads and other BIM managers to establish cost‑effective, practical approaches to integrating digital throughout project lifecycles.
Maintain relationships with Design Leads, Designers, BIM Managers, Engineers, and other product specialists to ensure adherence to BIM requirements in accordance with the BEP.
Encourage the use of 3D modeling and tools for review, to enhance and influence design decisions.
Lead, develop, and coach individuals to build high‑performing teams, leaving a legacy of talent in BIM.
Maintain engagement with other projects, teams, academia, institutions, and industries.
Encourage occasional travel as required.
Champion the implementation of Autodesk Forma Suite on aviation, civil/site projects.
About You
High school diploma combined with 10 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture.
Ten years of design experience in civil/site disciplines.
Experience developing workspaces, standards, and training materials.
Leadership experience in civil/design production groups.
Expertise in Autodesk technologies, especially AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Familiarity with 3D modeling, collaboration, construction management, and cloud‑based applications from major vendors (Autodesk, Bentley, ESRI, etc.).
Demonstrated Bentley production proficiency is a plus.
Track record of implementing transformative processes within teams to increase skills and drive efficiencies.

Additional Information
Expected compensation range is between $95,000 and $150,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and geographic location.
