The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing our organic social marketing as well asdeveloping and executing a comprehensive online reputation management strategy for all campus locations.
Social media is an integral part of EA's marketing strategy; enhancing EA's ability to develop its brands, generate leads, recruit staff, and monitor reputation. This role will collaborate within EA marketing, as well as with the campuses, admissions, and other teams to ensure that the social media efforts help drive the success of the schools.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to develop and execute social strategy and content calendars for multiple social platforms. They are a well-rounded digital expert who will create systems and processes to ensure ongoing development of content and updating of social pages. They will develop content and posts, as well as assist campus staff with the same. This role will provide ongoing reporting and analysis to the campuses and EA corporate leadership
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for executing daily tasks related to EA's social media strategy
Work in conjunction with the marketing leadership team to implement branded social strategies, increase engagement, and grow followers
Recommend and assist with execution of comprehensive social media content plans and marketing calendars for each campus
Support EA's social pages and 3rd party listings
Collaborate with the paid digital marketing team to develop and implement paid social promotions
Develop content for social media and other digital marketing to help the EA schools increase brand awareness, build community, and achieve its strategic goals related to admission, advancement, and other imperatives; engage consumer audiences and build connections
Schedule and compose social media posts, edit photos and videos, create graphics for sharing in social media, and solicit user-generated content
Collaborate with marketing, admissions, and campuses to craft original and/or modified copy, implement promotions, and coordinate the communication of EA's brands, mission, values, and philosophy
Actively seek content ideas from campuses and other internal constituents
Monitor evolving social and content strategies, particularly among competitors
Develop expertise in all facets of digital and social media - websites, blogs, etc
Utilize analytics software (e.g Google Analytics) for the purposes of monitoring company presence and media exposure
Evaluate new social channels and related tools to improve social media effectiveness and efficiency
Provide social media analysis to aid in marketing and business planning
Provide social and reputation management training and guidance to campuses and other relevant teams
Analyze social activity/engagement and traffic to improve strategy and tactics
Produce reports and dashboards for marketing leadership, campuses, and executive management
Lead social media and reputation management monitoring efforts
Monitor conversations in EA's social media channels, respond to mentions, comments, and private messages
Escalate any issues to appropriate campus or team as needed
Perform all other duties as may be required
Requirements
Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or higher
Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed to craft engaging content, to respond to audience inquiries and to collaborate with internal and external teams.
Minimum 3 years social media management experience is required
Experience developing, executing and managing social media campaigns is required
Ability to create engaging social media content following brand guidelines
Ability to educate campus social teams on best practices, collaborate with local teams to lead timely social content creation efforts
Understanding of web analytics foundations. Adobe Analytics experience is a plus.
