Job Title: AV Event Support Specialist

Job Location: Tuesday - Thursday in Charlotte, NC

Job Duration: Contract

Some weeks will be 30 hours. Some will be 40.

Tuesday - Thursday in Charlotte, NC

In-office: 8:00AM - 4:30PM 20% Travel

Key Responsibilities:

Event Setup & Operation:

o Configure and operate audio and video systems for corporate events, town halls, and executive meetings.

o Ensure proper signal flow and connectivity across AV components.

o Provide technical expertise for Microsoft Teams and Webex platforms

o Troubleshoot platform issues during live sessions.

Collaboration & Communication:

o Partner with event organizers, IT teams, and external vendors to align technical requirements.

o Offer real-time support and problem resolution during events.

Equipment Management:

o Maintain AV inventory and ensure equipment readiness.

o Perform routine maintenance and escalate repair needs promptly.

Required Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with audio systems (microphones, mixers, amplifiers) and video systems (cameras, switchers, projectors)
• Familiarity with Poly conferencing systems and AV signal flow.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with streaming platforms and hybrid event technologies.
• Knowledge of AV control systems and networking basics.
• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent certification.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and transport AV equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
