AVP Technology Business Operations & Strategy

For our client, we are seeking a AVP Technology Business Operations & Strategy to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: Charlotte, NC - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $225,000 – $275,000 annually
Responsibilities

Guide divisional technology investments and workforce planning
Establish and oversee quality and delivery governance across platforms
Manage budgeting and resource allocation for technology teams
Drive metrics and continuous improvement initiatives
Negotiate and manage contracts with strategic vendors
Qualifications

12+ years leading complex technology ecosystems or platform assurance
Proven success in highly regulated industries and matrixed organizations
Deep experience managing strategic SaaS vendors and system integrations
Strong knowledge of quality engineering and architectural governance
Exceptional executive presence with a horizontal leadership capability
