Lead Technical Writing Specialist

The Lead Tech Writing specialist will provide support to both the sales team and distributor network by providing quoting support for both new and existing products, ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive pricing. They will manage and maintain department specifications and pricing documentation, while creating specs and cost for new business opportunities. This role will also support vendor relationship management to help inform pricing strategies and ensure cost alignment. In addition, they will also provide ongoing support to Regional Managers within their territories, with a strong focus on quote generation, updates and follow-through.

Responsibilities

Provide customer/sales technical support on new or existing products quotes.

Work closely with regional sales managers to achieve Product Management goals and to support key accounts.

Prepare accurate and timely customer quotes based on specifications, requirements, and pricing guidelines

Meet defined turnaround times for quote delivery

Prioritize urgent or high-value quotes

Balance speed with accuracy to maintain customer satisfaction

Requirements

Strong organization skills.

Excellent communication skills

Ability to quote in SAP to meet sales and customer requirements.

Team building and problem-solving skills on a global basis.

Self-starter and effective time manager.

Database management experience with Excel
