Remote Technical SEO Intern — Drive Growth & Analytics

As a Technical SEO Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the digital presence and online visibility of LXN Photography through SEO strategies. This unpaid internship offers rich opportunities for career mentorship, skill development, and benefits like career coaching, a professional portrait session, and a written referral upon successful completion.

Your responsibilities will include performing keyword research, conducting SEO audits, optimizing content, improving website performance, monitoring analytics, and assisting with backlink strategies. This is a remote internship, offering flexibility and valuable experience within a creative and supportive environment.

Time Commitment

Minimum 3 months (Open to Extension Upon Availability)

At Least 10-20 hours per week

Weekly meetings with founder and intern team

What You’ll Work On

SEO Optimization – Optimize website pages and social media for search, engagement, and speed

Analytics & Reporting – Track traffic, performance, and conversion; create easy-to-read dashboards

Image & Content Optimization – Ensure images and media load fast and attract the right audience

Trend Research – Identify opportunities for digital growth and engagement

Cross-Collaboration – Work with Social Media Marketing Intern, Graphic Design Intern, Product Design Intern, and Branding Intern to execute campaigns

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge in SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies

Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Hotjar, Posthog, or other SEO analysis software

Basic technical skills, including HTML, metadata management, and website performance optimization

Research proficiency to stay updated with SEO trends and implement best practices effectively

Strong written communication and organizational skills for clear documentation and reporting

Motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment

Passion for digital marketing or creative industries like photography and videography is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Background in digital marketing, analytics, computer science, or related field

Interest in photography or creative media
