Position Summary:
The Brand Development Manager is responsible to market, sell and promote our supplier portfolio to on and off premise businesses within assigned territory. Uphold and exhibit a comprehensive understanding of how products are made, what differentiates distinct brands from their competition, and how to position brands within various retail channels. Demonstrate competent sales and consultant abilities through the development of positive customer and co-worker relationships. Provide exemplary customer service through frequent face-to-face visits, telephonic, and electronic contact. Meet sales and goal expectations consistently.

Daily/Position Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):

Support accounts in trade channels including Off-Premise, On-Premise, regional, and national customers

Drive brand success via leadership selling against trade channels and actively supporting the selling efforts of sales reps, district managers, and key account specialists within the wholesaler

Lead all parts of the sales process including targeting appropriate accounts, lead selling, education and positioning brands for success within the account

Monitor field implementation and execution of programs within assigned accounts to ensure product pricing and promotion

Regularly interact with field management for updating programming and brand priorities, brand standards and best practices leading to successful execution in

the market

Develop key account relationships that deliver measurable results

Work with key assigned teams to deliver monthly goals (work-withs, product training samples, etc.)

Create, coordinate, and attend on-site promotional functions at established customer accounts (e.g., winemaker dinners, product launches, and tastings)

Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

2-3 years of industry-related sales experience

Strong knowledge of wine and spirits and or similar certifications preferred

Budget management and gross profit calculation experience

Skills/Requirements:

Skilled at planning and coordinating all aspects of event management

Must have a flexible work schedule and be able to respond to the demands of the marketplace by planning time and activities to achieve company objectives.

Must have 21 years of age

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Must have a valid driver license, vehicle and a responsible Motor Vehicle Record

Must live in the same state as the assigned territory

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required

Requires professional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong Analytical, Critical-thinking, and Problem-solving skills

Proven organizational and time-management skills.

Strong interpersonal, and communication skills

Creative and out-going
