Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Student Photographer (Level 1) will capture photos and videothat represent the qualities and values of Fairmont StateUniversity.
Responsibilities Include: Photography Assistant Set up/teardown and transportation of lighting, audio andphoto/video equipment
Manage batteries and storage media
Assist primary photographer
Second Photographer Supplement primary photography at campus events
Provide secondary camera angles during video shoots
Event Photographer Cover campus event assignments
Campus-Life Photographer Carry a camera and capture photos/videos from the perspective ofa student at Fairmont State University
Minimum Qualifications On the job training will be provided; ideal candidate has aworking knowledge of digital mirrorless or DSLR cameras.
Availability to attend some campus events, may require some nightand weekend availability.
Prompt, prepared and dressed appropriately when providingphotography services
Willingness to understand and comply with campus branding andaesthetic
Willingness to appear in public spaces and with largecrowds
Able to safely lift and carry 10-15 lbs.
