Secret Clearance UI/UX Designer

To support U.S. Army modernization initiatives, an experienced Secret Clearance UI/UX Designer will work remotely in a full-time capacity, leading the design of user-centered interfaces for complex software products while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational effectiveness.
Key responsibilities

Lead UX/UI design efforts for next-generation software capabilities, translating complex operational processes into intuitive user journeys
Conduct user research and usability testing with Army personnel to inform design decisions and improve user experiences
Develop wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes while maintaining a scalable design system for future software development

Required qualifications

Active Secret security clearance is required
Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related discipline
5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role supporting complex software products
Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and experience collaborating with Agile teams
