The ideal candidate can independently identify opportunities, build strategic roadmaps, develop testing plans, and translate customer data into actionable marketing programs.
Key Responsibilities

Create and manage strategic campaign roadmaps across email, SMS, web, and in-app channels.
Develop automated and personalized customer journeys using Braze or a comparable CRM and marketing automation platform.
Use customer insights, behavioral data, segmentation, and campaign performance trends to identify new marketing opportunities.
Build measurement plans that track product engagement, campaign conversion, revenue, and subscriber retention.
Partner with analytics teams to develop testing strategies and measure incremental campaign performance.
Lead test-and-learn initiatives designed to improve engagement, conversion, and retention.
Build business cases and cost-benefit analyses for new marketing programs and campaign investments.
Translate high-level business objectives into tactical marketing plans, timelines, and work-back schedules.
Represent marketing strategy within cross-functional initiatives involving product, CRM, analytics, governance, and business stakeholders.
Provide campaign performance, roadmap, and program updates to senior marketing leadership.
Identify roadblocks, recommend solutions, and escalate issues when leadership support is required.
Manage multiple campaign initiatives and strategic priorities simultaneously.
Promote an automation-first approach that reduces manual campaign execution and improves efficiency.
Maintain accountability for delivering initiatives in alignment with established program roadmaps and deadlines.
Required Experience

2+ years of communications, lifecycle marketing, campaign strategy, CRM strategy, or customer engagement experience within a midsized or large organization.
Experience developing app-based messaging and in-app customer engagement strategies.
Experience using Braze or a comparable CRM and marketing automation platform.
Experience creating automated customer journeys, personalized recommendations, segmentation strategies, and dynamic content programs.
Experience developing engagement, revenue, retention, or churn-reduction strategies for an app-based or subscription business.
Experience independently leading strategic initiatives from discovery and roadmap development through implementation.
Demonstrated success transitioning campaign programs from manual processes to automated environments.
Experience developing strategic testing plans and measuring campaign incrementality.
Experience using performance data and customer insights to optimize campaigns and lifecycle journeys.
Experience supporting upsell and cross-sell programs within an existing customer or subscriber base.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience within streaming, digital media, subscription services, e-commerce, fintech, retail, food delivery, or another app-based business.
Recent experience developing in-app journeys using Braze.
Experience working with digital asset management systems, automated content libraries, or personalized recommendation tools.
Familiarity with project-management platforms such as Smartsheet or Asana.
Experience presenting marketing strategies and performance results to senior or executive leadership.
Required Skills
