Managing Editor, Medical Content

To support a growing Content Studio, the full-time Managing Editor, Medical Content will own and operate editorial production for client-related content, ensuring high-quality delivery while collaborating with Client Services and managing freelance resources in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities

Own editorial production from concept to delivery for client-related content, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client goals
Collaborate with Client Services to manage project timelines and client expectations, participating in client calls and content development discussions
Establish workflows and quality standards to scale content production and manage freelance writers and contractors effectively

Required Qualifications

Approximately 8 years of experience in editorial, medical communications, healthcare publishing, or content marketing
Strong experience in creating or editing medical, healthcare, or life-sciences content
Familiarity with AMA style and a commitment to accuracy, clarity, and detail in content
Experience managing or editing freelance writers or contractors
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
