About the Role

Sandy Vans is looking for a creative and social-savvy TikTok Social Media Intern to help grow our brand presence and engage our online community. This is a hybrid role, with one in-office day per week for team collaboration and content planning, and the remainder remote.
Responsibilities

Create, film, and edit engaging TikTok content that reflects the Sandy Vans brand voice
Stay current on TikTok trends, sounds, and challenges, and adapt them for our audience
Assist in planning and scheduling a consistent content calendar
Monitor comments, DMs, and engagement, responding where appropriate
Track performance metrics and report on what's working
Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, product launches, and promotions
Brainstorm new content ideas to grow followers and engagement
Qualifications

Active TikTok user with a strong understanding of the platform and its trends
Basic video editing skills (CapCut, TikTok editor, or similar)
Strong communication and creative thinking skills
Comfortable being on camera or directing content shoots
Reliable and able to commit to one in-office day per week
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred, not required)
Currently in college or graduate, studying Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred, not required)
